Short Biography
Nabil Mirza was born in Lebanon in 1968. He studied electrical engineering and received his PhD, MSE and BE degrees from the Beirut Arab University (BAU), Lebanon, in 2010, 2002 and 1994 respectively. His master thesis entitled “Cryptography and Secure Communications”. Whereas his PhD thesis entitled "Error correction of noisy ciphers". He held teacher assistant and lab instructor positions for courses in cryptography, natural language processing, network security, digital electronics, communication systems, and knowledge management. His research interests are mainly in securing communication systems and in natural language processing. Part of his PhD findings were published in four international conference papers in the areas of error correction of noisy block ciphers. He is a member of IEEE, a member of ACM, and a member of ACS. |
